Withdrawal Policy

Authors should follow high standards of professional conduct and ethics during the publication process. Withdrawing a manuscript after submission is highly discouraged because it involves substantial time and effort from the journal’s editors, reviewers, and staff.

Policy

  1. Requesting Withdrawal: A formal request for withdrawal, signed by all authors, must be submitted in writing to the editor-in-chief. The request should clearly state the reason for withdrawal.

  2. Withdrawal Before Peer Review: If a withdrawal request is submitted before the peer review process has begun, the request will be granted. The manuscript will be officially removed from the journal’s submission system.

  3. Withdrawal During or After Peer Review: Withdrawal requests submitted during or after the peer review process, or after acceptance, are subject to an administrative fee. This fee covers the costs associated with the peer review process, including reviewer time and editorial resources. The journal will notify the authors of the fee amount upon receiving the withdrawal request.

  4. Rejection of Withdrawal Request: In rare cases, such as when a manuscript is already scheduled for publication, the journal reserves the right to reject a withdrawal request.

  5. Ethical Violations: If a withdrawal request is made due to concerns of scientific misconduct, such as plagiarism or falsification of data, the journal will proceed with an investigation in accordance with its ethical guidelines. The authors will be notified of the outcome of this investigation.

Important Note: The journal will not consider any new submissions from authors who have withdrawn a manuscript after acceptance without a valid and documented reason.
